Supercell has updated Squad Busters in August 2024, adding new worlds, characters, and currency, but deleting elements like Mega Units and Battle Bags.This update includes a new Lava World, characters, and battle mods. Players will receive corresponding skins for previously unlocked Mega Units.

The latest August 2024 update for Supercell's Squad Busters has brought significant changes based on player feedback, such as the new world of Lava World, new characters, new battle mods, new currency system, as well as the removal of battle bags and mega units.

Keys and rerolls have been removed, as has the Battle Bag. Regular keys will still exist in games, but they will not be able to be obtained through the store or as rewards. Although rerolls are no longer available, the refresh option remains available and may be used three times every match for free.

Meanwhile, mega units have been eliminated, which is a big alteration to the game. Megas are no longer accessible as consumables; skins have taken their place. Players who have already unlocked megas will now receive free access to the corresponding skins and additional goodies according to how many keys, rerolls, and megas they have acquired. 

In the latest update released in June 2024, a brand new world has been introduced to the game. Say goodbye to the icy landscapes of the past as the scorching heat of summer brings forth the thrilling Lava World. 

Get ready to meet three new characters making their debut in the Lava World : the Archer, the Miner, and Leon . Each character comes with their own rarity - Common , Rare , and Epic respectively.

The Archer is a formidable attacker armed with the Arrow Volley ability that activates after every 12 attacks, raining down a barrage of arrows on enemies. The Defender Miner is a versatile character capable of burrowing underground and launching turbo-powered attacks. Lastly, Leon , the speedster of the trio, possesses the ability to cast an Invisibility Spell , making him a tricky opponent to pin down in battles.

Exciting new mods are on the horizon for players of this game!

Introducing "Crystal Forest," where players embark on a quest with the formidable "Hero Greg" to fell numerous enchanted trees. Next up is "Timeout," a high-stakes mod where participants kick off with 200 gems. Be swift or risk running out of time and getting eliminated from the action. Lastly, in "Hatchling Herder," gamers are tasked with safeguarding colossal hatchlings that trail their every move. It's quite the sight to see these little ones tagging along, reminiscent of a shepherd tending to their flock. However, the more you amass, the more vulnerable they become to theft, so stay vigilant.
